The 1995 feature Home for the Holidays happens to be a Thanksgiving favorite for some, and many subscribers want to know if it’s an option on Netflix this holiday season.

The movie directed by Jodie Foster follows Clausidaia Larsen, who finds out her daughter isn’t coming home for Thanksgiving because she is staying with her boyfriend. Of course, this is on the same day she finds out she lost her job and made out with her soon-to-be former boss adding to the drama of it all. Then, of course, she has the entire family to deal with for dinner on Turkey Day.

The screenplay, which was written by W.D. Richter, for Home for the Holidays is based on a short story by Chris Radant. The cast of this feature is stacked with talented individuals, including Holly Hunter, Robert Downey Jr., Anne Bancroft, Dylan McDermott, Geraldine Chaplin, Steve Guttenberg, Claire Danes, Cynthia Stevens, and Charles Durning.

The appealing holiday movie is an exceptional watch on Thanksgiving, and it’s no wonder subscribers would like to know if they can enjoy it on the streamer to get ready for the special day.

There will be so many titles to appreciate this holiday season on the streamer, and all of the available titles are absolutely exceptional. But unfortunately, Home for the Holidays is not available on Netflix, and it doesn’t seem like this situation will change anytime soon.

Suppose it’s Thanksgiving movies viewers are interested in experiencing this Thanksgiving. In that case, the streamer has a few options, including Free Birds, Holidate, and Friendsgiving.
