It is no secret that Outlander is one of the most-watched shows on Netflix, and many are eager to learn if Outlander season 6 is available on the streaming service.

Netflix gets a lot of credit for its original slate of programming, but subscribers shouldn’t sleep on the licensed content the streaming network has to offer. Just because Mad Men, The Office, and Friends are no longer available doesn’t mean there is nothing worth bingeing over and over again within its impressive library of content.

Of all these exceptional affairs to obsess over, it seems that the Straz original series Outlander based on the time-bending romance novels written by author Diana Gabaldon is one that has become a heavy favorite with Netflix subscribers.

The well-received show with excellent Rotten Tomatoes scores stars Caitriona Balfe as a married World War II nurse who gets transported to 1743, where she encounters the Highland Warrior James Fraser portrayed by James Bond contender Sam Heughan resulting in a time-bending love story unlike any other. The award-winning series was recently renewed for a seventh season, leaving some to wonder if Outlander season 6 is available on Netflix.

Unfortunately, Outlander season 6 is not available on Netflix, but subscribers should take note that it isn’t available anywhere yet. The highly anticipated follow-up to season 5 is expected to arrive on Starz sometime in 2022, which could mean the streaming service won’t see it until much later.

In order to keep people sane during the Droughtlander ordeal, there are four seasons of Outlander available. It looks like Outlander season 5 will bed added to Netflix sometime in 2022 if the release pattern holds.
