Hey girl – are you cool with my new dark brown hair? Of course you are; I’m Ryan Gosling and I’m completely hot. All right, so while I believe he’s a lovely actor and I’m certain a lovely person, I do not see the real sex appeal associated with Ryan Gosling. But I’m not one to argue with millions of lovestruck women, so I’m going to keep my mouth shut about it. What I am going to do, however, is say that women seem to love him no matter what he does to himself, whether it’s dye his hair a shade of chocolate brown we’ve never seen before or even shave his head and paint his face pink – I’m sure women will love it. So what was Gosling thinking making such a shocking transformation? Well, it seems he’s not in the midst of a midlife crisis, which sometimes happens when you have a baby and become a father for the first time. It turns out he’s just playing a role.

The much-loved actor, longtime partner of actress Eva Mendes and new father to a sweet little girl has taken on the role of Greg Lippman, a financial trader with a sharp tongue. The role is in the new film The Big Short and it’s all about the world of finance. He’s starring alongside a few other big name actors you may have heard of at some point in recent years; Brad Pitt and Christian Bale. The movie is being based off a nonfiction work by Michael Lewis, and it’s expected to be quite good. There’s a lot of hype surrounding the movie, and it’s currently being filmed in New Orleans, where the handsome young actor has turned up with his dark new locks. It might not be your favorite look, but we doubt the women of the world care what his hair looks like.
