She began her musical career at London’s British and Irish Modern Music Institute in 2014, where she joined the audition for the 11th season of The X-factor as part of the trio.

In 2015, her four-track solo Extended playlist, EP titled Troubled was recorded and uploaded to SoundCloud.

She was discovered on social media by an American record producer, Mustard, who signed her to his record label, 10 Summers Records.

At the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, she won three awards, including the award for Top R&B Artist.
