Josh Duhamel started off modeling in California before moving to Milan, Italy, for the 1998 summer. He relocated to Los Angeles after leaving the country and kept modeling there. Additionally, Josh accepted a part-time job at a talent agency, where a representative approached him about acting after noticing his good looks.
In his youth, Josh Duhamel played every sport offered in Minot, North Dakota. He participated in track, basketball, and football in high school before moving on to play football in college at Minot State University. Josh Duhamel majored in biology with the goal of attending dental school, but his grades made him decide to pursue a new vocation.
