Tito Puente, Is an American songwriter, bandleader, Musician and also a record producer from Puerto Rican. He was born on April 20, 1923, he is famously known for his dance-oriented mambo and Latin jazz compositions. All through his 50-years career, the song that made him popular is the“Oye Como Va” song.

Puente and his music have been included in movies like Fernando Trueba’s Calle 54 and The Mambo Kings. He was featured on several television programs, such as Sesame Street and the two-part “Who Shot Mr. Burns?” episode of The Simpsons.
