The Ryan Murphy smash hit thriller series, which landed on Netflix in early October, captivated audiences around the world, earning itself a quick renewal by the streaming giant. The series, which is based on true events and a 2018 New York Post article, follows a normal family who after moving into their dream home begins to live in a true nightmare once letters from a mysterious “watcher” begin to appear.

The official logline, via Netflix’s Media Center, reads:
