The famous Notting Hill actress recently died due to natural causes.
On Saturday, February 24, the 53-year-old actress passed away and her agency confirmed the news.
Emma Chambers was a British actress.

She was famous for her role as Alice Tinker in the long-running BBC sitcom The Vicar of Dibley. Furthermore, she also starred in the 1999 huge hit Notting Hill in which she played the role of Honey Thacker.

Dawn French, her fellow star, who starred in The Vicar of Dibley along with Emma for more than 13 years paid tribute by posting a photo on Twitter,

“Very bright spark and the most loyal and loving friend anyone could wish for. I will miss her very much.

I was regularly humped like this by the unique & beautiful spark that was Emma Chambers. I never minded. I loved her. A lot .

Hugh Grant, who starred as the older brother of Emma in the 1999 hit movie, Notting Hill, states,

“She brought laughter and joy to many. Emma Chambers was a hilarious and very warm person and of course a brilliant actress. Very sad news.”

Grant further added,

“At this difficult time, we ask that the privacy of the family and loved ones be respected.”

Relationship with her partner

Richard Curtis’s partner, Emma Freud also paid tribute to the legendary actress also posted a video of her work saying,

“We’re very, very sad. She was a great, great comedy performer, and a truly fine actress. And a tender, sweet, funny, unusual, loving human being.How could you not love this girl.”

Back in 1998, the veteran actress also received the British Comedy Award for her role in The Vicar of Dibley in the category of Best TV Comedy Actress. Emma’s first major role was Margaret in the 1998’s TV series The Rainbow. She was the wife of fellow actor Ian Dunn.

The couple got married in 1991. In addition, the Notting Hill actress had also notable roles in The Wind in the Willows, Little Robots, Bravo Two Zero, and a few others.
