Selena Gomez has taken to Instagram to shut down ‘feud’ rumors with fellow Disney alum, Miley Cyrus, as the two prepare to release new music on the same day later this week.

Just last week, Selena Gomez announced she’d be dropping her long-awaited new single on August 25, on the same day as Miley Cyrus, however, was quick to put a stop to any ‘feud’ rumors that had been flying around on the matter.

Just weeks after putting a stop to feud rumors with Francia Rasia, the Disney alum has now done the same with Miley Cyrus, who is releasing new music on the same day.

Last week, the 31-year-old announced the release of her new single, Single Soon, weeks after being spotted with music producer Fred Again. The former Hannah Montana star also announced her release of Used To Be Young, set to also be released on August 25.

The announcement of a new track on the same day sparked those supposed ‘feud’ rumors once again, however, Gomez put a stop to these once and for all via her Instagram stories, as she penned:

“@mileycyrus and I both have a SINGLE SOON and we are releasing on the same day. We have been friends since we USED TO BE YOUNG. Excited for August 25th!”

The text was accompanied by a pic of Selena featuring in the show Hannah Montana, while Miley herself shared Gomez’s post while sharing a meme of her own to the story.

Selena Gomez embraces ‘Sister from another mister’

Following on with the sisterhood theme, recently taking to her 428 million Instagram followers, the Disney alum posted a picture of herself with Karol G, which she captioned: “Sister from another mister.”

The two could be seen pressing their hands together, which resembled a mirror reflection. Of course, the two look completely different, as Selena sports her long brown locks with the TQG singer rocking a chic pink look.

In the next photo, the two could be seen smiling as they lovingly embraced one another.

Earlier this week, Selena was spotted at the Colombian singer’s concert, where she was captured living her best life at the Los Angeles show as she was recorded singing along to the Spanish lyrics.
