Although coparenting has not been easy for them, Mackenzie Douthit has just revealed that her children spent last six weeks with her ex-husband, Josh McKee. This is particularly surprising because the former Teen Mom star shared in her last updates that she was not communicating with Josh.

Things have really turned around! Despite the serious issues with co-parenting that she has publicized since their divorce, Mackenzie McKee just revealed that her children spent the last six weeks with Josh McKee away from her.

The news comes as a big surprise after Mac’s past updates. Most recently at the end of May, she publicly shaded Josh for missing their son’s graduation ceremony.

Gannon recently celebrated the end of elementary school and the former Teen Mom 3 star posted a series of photos in honor of the 11-year-old. Her new boyfriend made an appearance, but her ex-husband was not present.

“Just like that. I have a middle schooler,” Mackenzie wrote in the caption. “I love you Gannon boy.”

People took notice that his dad did not appear in any photos.

“Damn Josh didn’t even show up?” someone asked in a comment.

“He wasn’t here,” Mackenzie wrote back. “Probably didn’t even know he graduated. But I do tell him anything that’s happening with no reply just to continue to do what’s right.”

That update was posted just under six weeks ago on May 26th, so her latest news about her sons came as a surprise to Teen Mom fans.

“I haven’t seen my boys in 6 weeks,” Mackenzie shared on Facebook.

“I’m very thankful they had a good summer in Oklahoma,” continued the 28-year-old. “That first year sharing isn’t easy, but God brought us all through it.”

She shared that her daughter has been home from the visit and her sons are soon to follow.
