Lizzo looks unrecognizable in her scarily accurate Grinch costume - 'she ate that up'
Ava Barnes Lizzo has taken to Instagram to share her epic Christmas costume of The Grinch, channeling her outfit at 2022’s Jingle Bell Ball. The star hasn’t had the easiest year, however, it looks like she wants to end it with some festive fun.
The music star recently revealed on social media she was working on “music, myself, trust issues with the world.” Plus, a killer outfit, by the looks of it.
Lizzo ‘ate’ her Christmas Grinch outfit
Taking to her 12.6 million Instagram followers, the About Damn Time singer looked unrecognizable in her Grinch costume.
The star didn’t hold back, as she covered her body, and hair in Green. No detail was missed, as she even added the character’s hair to her fingertips.
She wore a white mini dress, with festive sweets printed on, with the bag and shoes to match. In one shot, the 35-year-old can be seen holding a bauble like the iconic movie, staring directly into the camera with her prosthetics.
Lizzo has had her comments on Instagram limited since she was hit with a bombshell lawsuit by her dancers. However, the pics are now circulating X, formerly known as Twitter, where fans are having their say.
“I ain’t going to lie she killed it,” wrote one.
A second penned: “She might be canceled but she always has the best costumes ngl.”
“She ate this one up y’all can’t lie!!!” exclaimed another.
The look may ring a bell to some fans, as she dressed up as the same Christmas character at 2022’s IHeart Jingle Bell Ball, wearing a green wig and green outfit.
The star is ‘way too fine’ to be stressed
In August, Lizzo publically denied any claims made by her dancers in the lawsuit. She recently posted a video to her Instagram account with the caption: “Way too fine to be this stressed.”
In the video, the singer can be seen once again, in a festive outfit, this time in the form of a sparkly jumpsuit.
Walking towards the camera, Lizzo shows off her figure in the tight fit, as well as the flawless beach waves in her hair.
“Whew she fine af,” wrote one fan.
“YOU LOOK GOOD sister!” exclaimed a second.
