Lafayette Amity Death Cause linked to accident 

As per sources, a tragic incident occurred early Tuesday morning at approximately 8:45 a.m., claiming the life of a Amity McClure from Lafayette in a car accident near the intersection of State Road 38 and Delaware Street on the eastern side of Dayton.

According to witnesses present at the accident site who spoke to Dayton Police officers, Amity, while travelling westbound on State Road 38, reportedly made an attempt to overtake another vehicle in a designated no-passing zone.

Subsequently, McClure lost control of her vehicle, causing it to veer towards an oncoming eastbound vehicle.

However, she ultimately swerved off the road’s south side, colliding with a tree, as described by law enforcement.

Upon arriving at the scene, the police ascertained that there were two occupants in the car: McClure and her 3-year-old daughter, both residents of Lafayette.

Both were sent to Franciscan Hospital after being appropriately restrained.
