Actor most notable for playing the supporting role of Pontius Gemstone in the Emmy award-nominated HBO original comedy/drama series The Righteous Gemstones, which was created by Danny McBride. He had previously been seen in episodes of television series such as SEAL Team and Mosaic, as well as feature films including Arsenal and Logan. 

Before Fame

He got his start in professional acting in 2015, when he appeared in the short films Laugh Along the Way and Somewhere the King. That same year, he made his feature film debut as James Ellis in Zipper, as well as his television debut, as the recurring character of Mark Grissom on several episodes of the drama series The Astronaut Wives Club. He also performed in the 2015 TV miniseries The Parallax Theory.

Trivia

Along with castmates including Gavin Munn, Tim Baltz, and Cassidy Freeman, he received a nomination for Best TV Ensemble from the 2019 IGN Summer Movie Awards, as a result of their performance on The Righteous Gemstones.

Family Life

On The Righteous Gemstones, he often shares the screen with his father James Dumont, who plays the role of Chad. He has a younger sister who is also an actress, named Sinclair DuMont.
