Kelly Ripa is rambling over her soul mate. ET’s Rachel Smith conversed with the 51-year-old morning show have before the appearance of her new book and she figured out why she committed Live Wire to her significant other, Engraving Consuelos.

“I consider this book genuinely as a love letter to Check. That is the explanation I committed the book to him, since he really has walked around most of my adult presence with me,” she tells ET. “He really is an especially unbelievable mate, he’s a remarkable father, he’s a phenomenal individual, he’s an extraordinary sidekick. That is the best thing he is, a mind boggling friend. That is the thing, expecting you have him as a sidekick, you’ve rocked the boat in and out of town.”

Ripa and Consuelos departed suddenly in 1996, when they were just 25. They continued to have three young people: Michael, 25, Lola, 21, and Joaquin, 19.

“We have a 25-year-old. Accepting he ran off to Vegas and took away, we would rebuke him,” Ripa jokes. “We would find him and lock him in his room.”

Taking everything into account, notwithstanding everything, their marriage has persevered for a very extensive stretch.

“It’s a that thing, on paper, shouldn’t have worked out. We shouldn’t have worked out, but something about the two of us [made it work],” Ripa says. “I trust it’s our normal respect and shared concession. We don’t fight with each other, we don’t have mental self portraits where the other individual is concerned, we have each other’s back. That is a one of something kind, I think, in this industry… We really are just reliably there for each other.”

That the truth was very clear in 1997, when, a half year ensuing to delivering her most noteworthy youth, Ripa dropped while taking part in sexual relations with Consuelos, an episode she depicts in her book.

“Closeness can be [difficult] for ladies, particularly after they have had a kid, and I’m something similar,” Ripa tells ET. “That was unbelievably, problematic. Genuinely what it portrays is that my significant other – – – and recall that he was 27 years old… gave me the assistance I truly needed before there was language about supporting post-natal ladies and what their bodies could go through.”

It’s records like that, which have both humor and a more significant importance, that Ripa expected to participate in Live Wire.

“I started portraying depictions of my life that were planned to be engaging and clever and all of that, which by far most of the book is, some of it is grating and leaning toward the serious side,” she tells ET. “… This seems like entertaining stories that people can process easily. There’s something uniquely amazing for everybody.”
