As previously reported by US Weekly, the athlete had brought up the question to his longtime love, 33, during WrestleMania 33 on Sunday, April 2,
“I have been waiting so long to ask you this,Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, will you marry me?”
John Cena made a praiseworthy ring
“I didn’t just walk into a place and say, ‘Please just give me a ring.’ … I’ve been thinking about this for a long time … so I went to the good folks at Tiffany’s and had them construct a ring,”
Cena, 39, said in the video clip as he showed off the ring on Nikki’s hand to the camera.
He brought A-one ring to Nicki Bella. The ring was expensive and it holds all the feeling that John Cena had for Nikki Bella.

“The ring represents our entire relationship up until this point. If you look at the stones on the side, there are four individual stones on each side. One side represents me and one side represents her and the four means the years we’ve been together to come to center point. … The center point is a 4.5 carat round brilliant cut Tiffany diamond that represents the four and a half years we took to get right here,” the Trainwreck actor added. “As with everything that we do for each other, there’s always meaning behind it.”

Did Nikki Bella know John Cena was going to propose to her?
Nikki Bella had a gut feeling John Cena might propose at Sunday’s WrestleMania 33 — especially when she saw that his mom was in the front row.
Nikki was wondering why John Cena’s mom did not attend a live wrestling event in 16 years long and suddenly she was seen in the first row which made Nikki Bella wonder about the proposal.
Cena’s mom was, in fact, in attendance to see her 39-year-old son’s big moment. And when Bella saw her new fiancé bring out the ring, she was blank and her eyes were watering.
Nikki’s reaction after John Cena proposed her
After he proposed to Nikki Bella with a sparkling diamond ring, she was just blank. Her eyes were watering.
“I forgot how to breathe and I got really nervous, And then I said yes.”
As for the 4.5 karat ring, the round-cut stone and channel-set band have a special meaning for Bella. She said:
“Four a half years, four and a half karats, I had a lot of patience for this. I was shocked and I couldn’t have said ‘yes’ quick enough.”
In an interview given to The Today Show on Monday morning, Nikki Bella said she was extremely happy and overjoyed with how Cena proposed, stating that it felt right for them to get engaged in the ring considering the WWE is their home. Nikki Bella did mention, however, that she didn’t expect John Cena to propose to her in front of so many people.

John Cena stated,
“I found the absolute right person, A strong person that I consider an inspiration, an equal. Somebody who, when I’m feeling down, picks me up. Somebody when she’s down, I can pick her up.”
