Big Meech is an American drug dealer. He is the co-founder of The Black Mafia Family and older brother to the notorious drug dealer Terry “Southwest T” Flenory. The Black Mafia Family operated from two main hubs: one in Atlanta for distribution run by Demetrius Flenory and one in Los Angeles to handle incoming shipments from Mexico run by Terry Flenory.

Born Demetrius Edward Flenory on June 21, 1968. Big Meech started selling drugs from high school and gradually grew to establish a large organization overseeing multi-kilogram cocaine distribution sales in numerous U.S. states by 2000.

In 2003, the brothers split with Meech taking control of the main distribution center in Atlanta. However his dealings came to a head stop in 2007 when he pleaded guilty to running a continuing criminal enterprise and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Is Big Meech Still Alive or Dead?

Big Meech is alive and serving out his sentence at Federal Correctional Institution, Sheridan and is scheduled for release on May 5, 2029. He had requested his sentence be reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic within federal prisons, however, a federal judge rejected the request.
