Jennie Kim is a South Korean-born singer and rapper who is another member of Blackpink working under YG Entertainment. She happens to be the only Blackpink member to confirm dating while being in the band. Jennie is in an alleged affair with BigBand’s G-Dragon. They are said to be dating for a year and when asked about their affair with YG Entertainment, they did not deny it.

YG Entertainment said,

“We cannot confirm anything. We can’t confirm anything about our artists’ private lives. Also, we ask for your understanding.”

How did the rumors begin?

Jennie Kim and G-Dragon first met each other in the year 2012 and she appeared in his music video That XX. It is said that the two began dating a year ago and were photographed during their secret meeting.

In the captured photographs, Jennie can be seen arriving at his home in the Seoul Hannam-dong neighborhood. It became a place for them to hang out as it has its own parking lot and private elevator. Jennie’s vehicle was registered which made it easy for her to get in and out.

There is news that YG Entertainment is well aware of their relationship and her manager would drop by and pick her up from G-Dragon’s home. A close person of then said,

“A lot of people in YG noticed their relationship. Jennie’s mother is also aware of their relationship. She is thankful to him for his thoughtful care.”

Previous relationship and rumors of Jennie

Jennie is the one who was in a confirmed relationship with EXO Kai during her contract with YG Entertainment. They dated from October 2018 to January 2019. Kai’s management company confirmed their relationship back in December 2018 after a picture of them came out.

Before they confirm their relationship, both had posted an individual picture of themselves in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris around the same period of time. Just a month later, they had a public breakup.

His management company confirmed their split and released a statement,

“It is true that Kai and Jennie have recently parted ways,”

The reason for their breakup is said to be their schedule as both wanted to focus on their career. They remained as friends years after.
