Yesterday, PEOPLE broke the news that Monique and Chris have split following 10 years of marriage. Multiple sources confirmed to the outlet that the couple is reportedly going their separate ways.

As soon as PEOPLE reported on Sunday, the RHOP alums, 39, instantly took to Instagram to backfire at the claims. Monique shared a video on IG story of herself flashing her wedding ring with former NFL star husband Chris right by her side.

Similarly, Monique questions Chris in a video about what he thought about all of the chatter, and they both laugh. Also, the reality star told her fans that she’d just returned from a hike and filmed her husband who was relaxing outside.

The video might be an official statement to shut down their separation rumors.

Monique Samuels and Chris Samuels’s marital issue

Well, this is the fact that Monique and Chis have endured relationship issues over the years. They have also documented some of their marital issues in the first season of Love & Marriage: D.C.

While speaking to Entertainment Tonight in July 2022 interview, Samuels expressed,

“People always say that reality TV tears your marriage down. What people don’t realize is that Real Housewives of Potomac actually in some ways, saved my marriage,”

She continued,

“Chris and I, before we started filming that show, we were in a really tough place. We had lost all of the dating in our marriage. Once we started filming reality TV, it actually helped us because it forced us to date,”
