Alexis Sharkey’s husband was found dead at his daughter’s home

The case of Alexis Sharkey, the 26-year-old influencer whose naked body was found by a sanitation truck employee alongside a Houston road on 28th November 2020 was just getting solved.

Her husband Thomas Sharkey was the primary suspect in the murder was found dead. His death was a result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Florida.

The Houston police found Tom’s body which had a gunshot wound to his head. The U.S. Marshals arrived at his daughter’s Fort Myers home and searched for the property. Tom was wanted for murder in connection with his wife’s death. Likewise, an arrest warrant was issued on 29th September.

A spokesman for the Houston police revealed that he was the only person who had the means and motive to kill Alexis. Digging deeper into their relationship, investigators established there was a history of domestic violence.

Similarly, they had already separated but Tom was not in the mood to end the marriage. Tom was not so supportive during the investigation.

After the dead body of his wife was discovered, Tom moved to Georgia from Texas. Also, he was not the one to report his wife was missing.

Likewise, in late November 2021, he wrote,

“I have been assisting the deputies and making phone calls to fine [sic] out what happened to my wife. Next time…. stop and think! And realize! You don’t know it all!,”
