Tennis professional Riardas Berankis is a native of Lithuania. As the top tennis player in the ATP top 50 rankings, he is the lone representative of Lithuania.

Berankis has reached two ATP World Tour finals, the Kremlin Cup in 2017 and the Los Angeles Open in 2012. He was born in Vilnius, Lithuania, on June 21, 1990.

When he was only two years old, Berankis’ sister Lina, who is six years his senior, took him to watch her play tennis. Berankis’ first instructor was a Jurbarkas native named Valdas Adomaitis.
