After having his Facebook and Instagram accounts deleted, Andrew Tate has defended himself.

His accounts were suspended earlier on Friday for allegedly violating the terms of service of the two sites’ parent company, Meta, involving dangerous groups and individuals. The controversial former kickboxing world champion afterwards rose to fame on social media. Tate argued that earlier films had been interpreted incorrectly in response. A boxing match between Tate and either Jake or Logan Paul has been suggested.

“It is incredibly terrible that prior videos of me, where I was playing a humorous character, have been overblown to the extent that people believe wholly incorrect narratives about me,” Tate stated in a statement provided to Mirror Fighting. I donated more than $1 million to organizations that support women in the last two weeks. When I shared this on Instagram, it was disregarded.

Tate was referring to an Instagram post in which he promised to donate $1 to two charity for each like. Tate had 550,000 likes at the time of his suspension, which equated to a $1.2 million donation to two groups that help men with mental health problems and women who have experienced domestic violence.

“I have made movies highlighting that my mother is my hero and how males should protect and provide for women,” Tate stated in his statement. Instagram showed no worry. The notion that I am anti-women has been spread online through sensationalism, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. Simply put, they are hate groups looking to defame me without regard for the facts. To attack those they disagree with, they fabricate facts and create intricate documents that are full of lies and half-truths.
