Three Children With Ex-Husband
Anansa and her ex-husband, David Patterson's romantic history started way back in 2008. After dating for around two years, the couple decided to get married.
They exchanged their wedding vows on 10 July 2010 at First Congregational Church, Columbus, Ohio.

In the course of their married life, they welcomed three children. Their firstborn was a daughter named Ava Brielle Patterson (6 July 2011).
Likewise, their two sons David Bernard Patterson III was born on 6 November 2012 and Dean Danny Benjamin Patterson on 20 June 2014. Dean graduated from pre-school in July 2019.

Although they were together, Barnes was not sure about their relationship. He even has a serious discussion with Sims regarding the relationship.

After two years, their break-up story was out in February 2020, and things were getting ugly between the two.
Barnes claimed he couldn't see his son. But on the other side, Sims added that she had a restraining order against him. Amidst such discussions, Barnes decided to keep the matter off the social media and let the court do their work.
Back With Barnes Again?
After a messy break-up, Sims and Barnes came back strong together this new year on 2021.
The NBA player revealed through his IG post that they had figured it out and were now in a relationship.

However, most of us were already aware of their possible reunion.
Back in August 2020, Sims shared a series of posts on her Instagram celebrating one of her friend's birthday party. And in the post, Barnes made a noticeable presence. They were even spotted together at a dinner table alongside their son.
