Los Angeles, Sep 18 (IANS) Three individuals were killed after two little planes crashed in mid-air in the US province of Colorado, specialists said.

The impact was first announced at 8:54 a.m. nearby time (1454 GMT) on Saturday, as per the Stone District Sheriff’s Office.

The US Public Transportation Security Board affirmed in a tweet that it is exploring the mid-air impact of a Cessna 172 and a Sonex Xenos airplane close to Longmont, Colorado.

Specialists on call found two separate accident destinations, Xinhua news organization announced citing the Sheriff’s Office.

“The principal crashed airplane was tracked down in the 10,000 block of Niwot Rd on the south side. As of now there are two affirmed tenants in the airplane, both of whom were expired upon specialists on call showing up on scene,” said the sheriff’s office in an explanation.

“The second crashed airplane was tracked down in the 9,700 block of Niwot Rd on the north side,” and the one affirmed tenant in it was likewise perished before responders’ appearance, the sheriff’s office said.

Authorities expressed examination of the episode is still underway.
