The drama never seems to fall too far from TLC’s Unexpected star Jason Korpi. 

Jason and girlfriend Kylen Smith have been caught up in an immense amount of altercations and struggles, both on and off air of Unexpected’s Season 5.

On May 8, footage aired of Jason being verbally abusive towards Kylen during the labor of his child, and was kicked out of the labor for his unreasonable behavior. Fans petitioned to have him removed off the show, not afraid of admitting their anger towards the 18 year old.

“What did you think, it was going to be easy as **** to have a kid,” Jason told Kylen.
The comments flooded social media from fans calling Jason an abuser, and going as far to admit it’s hard for them to watch the show anymore due to his behavior.

“Why is TLC ok with showing this abusive relationship? It’s hard for me to watch knowing that he is getting paid for this,” a commenter admitted. However, other fans think he should remain on the show to “bring awareness” to his behavior

On top of the show footage, Jason also faces 11 chargers following an arrest that took place in March.

So it comes as no surprise to find out that Jason has once again made an irrational decision, affecting both his child and Kylen.

Jason decided to play a prank on some of the people that lived in his neighborhood. Him and YouTube star, JiDion, thought it would stream well to see if they could get random strangers to agree to take care of his baby.

They first made their way to a house owned by a young college student. The two said they needed someone to watch his baby while they attended a frat party. The house owner declined, saying he “had a paper to write for school.”

Jason and JiDion seemed persistent to succeed with this prank, and continued to leave baby Xavier with the college student, even after he admitted her would call the police if they left his baby there. They left Xavier anyway and then returned minutes later to admit it was just a prank.

At the second house, they were caught fairly easily as the man noticed the cameras and called them out for the prank.

As funny as Jason and JiDion thought this prank was, fans were not impressed one bit.

A reddit thread shares a fans honest reaction to the YouTube video.

“It’s time to get the law involved AND CPS HE IS UNSAFE AS PARENT. SHE NEEDS TO BE PLACED BACK WITH HER PARENTS. AND RECEIVE INTENSE THERAPY KNOW. HER MOM WAS SO HURT WHEN SHE WAS TOLD SHE NEED JASON NOT HER MOM SHE IS NOT SMART ENOUGH TO DO THIS ON HER OWN I HATE TO SAY THIS. THAT BABY WILL SEVERELY HURT OR WORSE. . PLEASE DON’T WAIT TILL ITS TO LATE FOR HIM,” they strongly showed concern.

Other fans of the show took to the comments directly under the Youtube video.

“If any of you actually watched the show you’d be fuming. He’s struggling because he refuses to work and just gets money from his daddy. Jason is an abusive monster with 11 pending charges who tried to force Kylen to give unassisted birth in his basement. Show her love and support when he goes to jail, she needs it so much.”

They continued admitting, “He almost killed her and Xavier during the birth because he wanted to go home after 24 hours of unassisted labor instead of to the hospital, this after not letting her have any prenatal care for 9 months.”
